Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new coffee offerings or seasonal specials based on customer feedback and trends.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
