Responsibility
- Assist bartenders in setting up and maintaining the bar area, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Restock beverages, garnishes, and other bar supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Clean and sanitize bar tools, glassware, and workstations to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Support bartenders during peak hours by preparing simple drinks, mixing ingredients, and serving customers efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining the bar's appearance, including organizing bottles, wiping counters, and ensuring a tidy workspace.
- Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as cases of beverages, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of bar operations, including drink preparation and inventory management, is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the bar's operating hours.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
