Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including inventory management of beverages, glassware, and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage services.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food and beverages and compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events, promotions, or special occasions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and best practices in mixology and customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality role (entry-level candidates with a strong passion for the industry will also be considered).
- Basic knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in handling cash transactions and maintaining inventory.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Valid certifications in food handling or bartending (e.g., Hygiene Certificate) are advantageous.
