Responsibility
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail, wine, and beverage menus that align with Tugu Hotel’s brand and seasonal themes.
- Lead, train, and mentor the bar team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and cost analysis to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create paired dining and beverage experiences for special events and promotions.
- Monitor industry trends and introduce new techniques, ingredients, and equipment to stay ahead of the competition.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality, locally inspired ingredients.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bar Manager, Beverage Director, or similar leadership role within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end bars.
- Proven expertise in mixology, wine selection, and beverage pairing, with a portfolio of creative drink menus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and POS systems.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is highly desirable.
- Passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the role.
