Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize backend manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing workflows.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, defect rates, and throughput to drive data-driven improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process optimization frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and ISO certifications in all manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, troubleshooting, and process adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing optimization, or backend operations in a high-tech or precision engineering environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred).
- Strong proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Python).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), DOE (Design of Experiments), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with a track record of delivering measurable improvements.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
