Responsibility
- Manage and oversee custody services for institutional clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving complex issues related to securities settlement, corporate actions, and account servicing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Technology) to streamline custody operations and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and client satisfaction enhancements.
- Lead or support client onboarding, due diligence, and periodic reviews to maintain high standards of service and risk management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in custody and institutional banking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to drive business growth.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on operational performance, risks, and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in custody services, client service management, or institutional banking, preferably in a global financial institution.
- Strong understanding of securities settlement, corporate actions, and custody operations.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, resolve escalations, and deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II) and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and custody-related software (e.g., Omgeo, SWIFT).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
