Responsibility
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety in designated areas.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security breaches, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Enforce laws, regulations, and security protocols to maintain order and protect property and individuals.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to support investigations and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist in crowd control and event security for high-profile gatherings, ensuring the safety of attendees and smooth operations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting observations, actions taken, and any violations encountered during duty.
- Engage with the community to build trust, gather intelligence, and promote safety awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement roles is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to handle demanding situations with composure and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Ability to work in a team environment while also demonstrating independence and initiative when required.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately to make sound decisions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
- Valid security or law enforcement certifications (e.g., Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, Basic Security Training) are preferred.
