Responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for Proton vehicles.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive dealership growth and market penetration in Tanjung Malim and surrounding areas.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing the end-to-end sales process, from inquiry to delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, events, and digital strategies to attract potential buyers.
- Maintain strong relationships with Proton’s corporate team to stay updated on new models, pricing, and incentives.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the automotive industry, preferably with Proton or other major brands.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage a diverse sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive products, financing options, and customer buying behaviors.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing market conditions, and meet tight deadlines.
