Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for the BPC SmartVista Cards CMS implementation.
- Lead the test automation strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to identify test scenarios and edge cases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the deployment process.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality and automation within the team.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with stakeholders to prioritize fixes.
- Optimize test suites for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and recommend tools/technologies to enhance the testing process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in Playwright and other modern test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the fintech or banking domain is a plus.
