Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for internet and mobile banking applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with clear, actionable insights to drive timely resolutions.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to validate system stability and performance under various conditions.
- Develop and maintain test data sets and environments to support automated testing processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in test automation and banking software to recommend innovative solutions.
- Document test cases, procedures, and outcomes to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in automation testing, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C# for script development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into DevOps processes.
- Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
