Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta), you’ll work in a fast-paced, international environment with opportunities for professional growth and impactful contributions to global manufacturing projects.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for industrial automation applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing machinery.
- Develop and optimize robotic control systems, including motion control, path planning, and servo motor tuning for high-precision tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, minimizing downtime and improving system reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to implement end-to-end automation solutions.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, CE, UL).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, user manuals, and maintenance protocols.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for automation systems, including training for operational staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric).
- Proven expertise in industrial robotics (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, or Yaskawa) and motion control systems.
- Strong proficiency in HMI/SCADA development (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, or WinCC) and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with servo systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and sensor integration in high-speed automation environments.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
