Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Review and modify existing drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation for all design projects, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, dimensions, and adherence to technical standards.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software features and industry best practices to enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members or interns as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and familiarity with other CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Revit is a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
