Responsibility
- Develop and modify Civil 3D drawings, including site plans, grading plans, roadway designs, and utility layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure accuracy in drafting.
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, profiles, and cross-sections, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and basic calculations to support cost estimation and material planning.
- Review and verify drawings for compliance with local regulations, codes, and project specifications.
- Maintain organized digital file management for all project-related drawings and revisions.
- Assist in site visits (when required) to gather field data and verify existing conditions for accurate modeling.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D features and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Operator, with a focus on Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest versions preferred) and familiarity with AutoCAD Map 3D or Revit is a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and roadway design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, surveys, and topographic maps.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure error-free deliverables.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows is advantageous.
