Responsibility
- Develop precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software based on engineering specifications and sketches.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and design layouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to refine designs and address potential issues.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and local building codes.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in drawings to minimize errors during production or construction.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools, plugins, and industry best practices to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an AutoCAD Operator or Drafter in engineering, architecture, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions) and familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, including dimensions, layers, and annotations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
