Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD for engineering, architectural, and construction projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate drafts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and client specifications.
- Review and revise drafts based on feedback from project stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation for all project-related drawings and revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as required.
- Utilize CAD software tools to optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features and industry best practices to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in engineering or construction industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2020 or later) and familiarity with other CAD tools (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, dimensions, and annotations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to ensure accuracy in designs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) is advantageous.
