Responsibility
- Collect and handle biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) with precision and care.
- Follow strict protocols for specimen labeling, storage, and transportation.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to ensure patient safety.
- Verify patient identities and ensure accurate documentation of all specimens.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of specimens.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of collection supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certification as an Authorized Specimen Collector or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in specimen collection or a related healthcare role.
