Responsibility
- Conduct fieldwork and controls testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and review workpapers, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all audit documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide support in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, helping clients meet their sustainability goals.
- Liaise with clients to understand their business processes and provide recommendations for enhancing financial controls.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in audit and accounting.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in audit, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Experience in controls testing, fieldwork, and workpaper preparation.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
