Responsibility
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Process and manage loan applications, including verification of documents and client information.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, reports, and general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with clients and financial institutions to facilitate smooth loan disbursements and repayments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
- Monitor and track loan portfolios, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and file management.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or loan administration, preferably in an Australian context.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, loan processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Australian tax laws and financial regulations is a plus.
