Responsibility
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of software licenses, hardware inventory, and asset allocations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies.
- Analyze asset utilization data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to forecast budgetary needs and track asset-related expenditures.
- Develop and implement IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to staff on asset management tools and compliance requirements.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate asset status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT asset management, software licensing, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar platforms).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 19770, SAM).
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
