Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, etc.) with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring they meet quality control and regulatory requirements.
- Document and report findings in a timely and precise manner, adhering to laboratory protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain laboratory accreditation and standards.
- Train and supervise junior staff or interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with advancements in medical technology and laboratory techniques to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (required).
- Valid professional certification or license as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (e.g., MLS, MT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting (for Associate level); 5+ years for Senior level.
- Proven expertise in laboratory testing procedures, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, CAP, CLIA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
