Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure software functionality meets quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform manual and automated testing (e.g., regression, integration, and performance testing).
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to contribute to Agile processes.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!).
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is advantageous.
