Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and precision.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Analyze and interpret test results, providing timely and accurate reports to healthcare providers.
- Adhere to strict protocols for sample handling, storage, and disposal to maintain laboratory integrity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs to uphold laboratory accreditation.
- Document all procedures and results meticulously in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and training to junior staff and new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including night and weekend shifts.
- Proficient in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
