Responsibility
- Plan and coordinate the procurement of materials to support customer demand and new product introductions.
- Develop and execute production schedules for the business unit, ensuring alignment with inventory and capacity constraints.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
- Generate reports and presentations on procurement activities, production schedules, and inventory status for management review.
- Work closely with demand planning and sales teams to forecast future material requirements accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all procurement and planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or medical device industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
