Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organize and label stock items for easy identification and retrieval, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to prepare and dispatch outgoing orders efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies and report any variances.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
- Assist in resolving any inventory or shipment discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg, as well as stand or walk for extended periods.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and other departments.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is an advantage.
