Responsibility
- Oversee fund accounting operations for private equity clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead a team of fund accountants, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance performance.
- Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and capital call/distribution notices.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams to ensure seamless fund operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor fund performance and provide insights to clients and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 3 years in private equity.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
