Responsibility
- Strategic Event Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies, including conferences, seminars, client appreciation events, and internal gatherings, aligned with business objectives.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and external partners to ensure cost-effective, high-quality event delivery.
- Budget Oversight: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial accountability and maximizing ROI for all initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, and sales teams to integrate event messaging with broader campaigns.
- Logistics & Execution: Oversee all logistical aspects, including travel, accommodations, AV requirements, and on-site coordination for flawless execution.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all events adhere to Bank of America’s compliance policies, risk management protocols, and local regulations.
- Post-Event Analysis: Measure and report on event success through KPIs, attendee feedback, and business impact assessments.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage cutting-edge event technologies to enhance engagement and delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in corporate event management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the financial services or multinational corporate sector.
- Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of Southeast Asian markets, cultural sensitivities, and business etiquette.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-priority events simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting and financial management experience, with a focus on cost optimization and ROI.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CMP) are advantageous.
