Responsibility
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Coordinate with development, business analysis, and project management teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and project timelines.
- Execute manual and automated testing processes to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
- Document and track test results, defects, and resolutions using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Analyze test data and provide insights to improve software quality and user experience.
- Support the Test Manager in risk assessment and mitigation strategies for project deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members to enhance their technical and analytical skills.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, standards (e.g., ISO, ISTQB), and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or assistant managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), tools (Selenium, Appium, Postman), and frameworks.
- Experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or Agile Testing are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous.
