Responsibility
- Lead the execution of retail store design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Mentor and guide design teams to foster creativity and innovation in retail environment design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to ensure cohesive and functional store designs.
- Develop and present design proposals, including mood boards, 3D renderings, and detailed layouts, to stakeholders for approval.
- Oversee the implementation of design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any design or construction issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in retail design to continuously enhance the customer experience.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality execution of design projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail design, preferably within the beauty or luxury goods industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional retail design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior designers.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices is a plus.
