As an Assistant Station Manager, you will play a critical role in station command, overseeing ground operations, managing frontline staff, and responding swiftly to operational incidents. Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise frontline station staff to ensure excellent service delivery and operational compliance.
  • Monitor station facilities and equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance throughout operating hours.
  • Manage commuter flow during peak hours and special events to ensure safety and minimize congestion.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) during incident management and emergency response situations.
  • Handle commuter feedback, enquiries, and difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Perform daily administrative duties, including station documentation, reporting, and staff deployment rosters.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure station cleanliness, security, and safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in any discipline or relevant professional certification in Transport/Logistics/Service Management.
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail management, or transportation operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities to guide frontline personnel.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to perform rotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and administrative tasks.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to public safety and service excellence.
