Responsibility
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to high standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service staff.
- Implement and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators for management review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
