Responsibility

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to Nando’s standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Drive sales and profitability through upselling, promotional activities, and cost-effective management.
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement new policies, procedures, and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
