Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to Nando’s standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
- Drive sales and profitability through upselling, promotional activities, and cost-effective management.
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for growth.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement new policies, procedures, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure, and multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, hygiene practices) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
