Responsibility
- Assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring and supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.
- Review and verify construction drawings, methodologies, and materials to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and disputes on-site, providing practical solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Support the Resident Engineer in conducting meetings with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and government authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction supervision or site management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with relevant software, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera, for project planning and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in various locations across Bali.
