MMSB Consult, a premier multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil) to join our expanding team in Gombak, Selangor. Responsibility
- Assist the Resident Engineer in the daily supervision and monitoring of on-site construction activities.
- Ensure all civil works are executed in strict accordance with approved engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and material inspections.
- Monitor and enforce site safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSH regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical site issues promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Review project schedules and assist in tracking work progress against established milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in site supervision, preferably within large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage interactions with diverse project stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
- Familiarity with local building codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations in Malaysia.
