Responsibility
- Lead and conduct high-quality, impactful research in Physics Education, resulting in high-impact international journal publications.
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum in Physics and Science Education.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students, including PhD and Master’s level candidates.
- Secure competitive external research grants to support scientific inquiry and pedagogical development.
- Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees to enhance the academic environment.
- Engage with local schools and the Ministry of Education to translate research findings into classroom-ready practices.
- Contribute to the administrative and service-related duties of the NSSE Academic Group.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Proven track record of research excellence as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching physics at the tertiary level, preferably within a teacher education context.
- Ability to obtain and manage competitive research funding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to advancing pedagogical practices through technology and innovative teaching methods.
- For Associate Professor level: A strong international reputation and established leadership in the field of Physics Education.
