Responsibility
- Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Chemistry Education.
- Lead and manage independent research programs that contribute to the field of science education.
- Supervise graduate research students and support the professional development of pre-service and in-service teachers.
- Collaborate with international research partners and engage in interdisciplinary scholarly activities.
- Contribute to institutional committee work and strategic initiatives within the NIE.
- Publish findings in high-impact international journals and participate in major academic conferences.
- Bridge the gap between theoretical chemistry research and practical classroom application.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry Education, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- A proven track record of research excellence with publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated experience in effective university-level teaching and student mentoring.
- Strong background in research methodology (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods).
- Ability to secure external research funding and grants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
