Responsibility
- Assist the Production Supervisor in overseeing daily operations in the chemical plant.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical production processes and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AWS (Automated Workflow Systems) is a plus.
- Certification in occupational safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is advantageous.
