Responsibility
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the chemical plant.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are operational and well-maintained.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Optimize production schedules to maximize output while minimizing costs and downtime.
- Train and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Liaise with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot production issues.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
