Responsibility
- Assist in the development and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment and inventory levels.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for product performance improvements.
- Collaborate with the buying and design teams to ensure product selections align with customer preferences and brand standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stockouts.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and other key merchandising metrics.
- Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal product launches.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans related to merchandising activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in internal systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, or a similar role within the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with merchandising or inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
