Responsibility
- Support the management of participating funds, including bonus declarations, financial reporting, and governance compliance.
- Conduct actuarial valuations and financial projections to assess fund performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for fund optimization.
- Prepare and present reports on fund performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fund management.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to inform fund management decisions.
- Assist in the development and review of actuarial models and methodologies.
- Provide support in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for participating funds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in actuarial roles, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Progress towards or completion of actuarial qualifications (e.g., SOA, IFoA) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Prophet, MoSes, Excel).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.
