Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain high service levels.
- Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods/services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality assurance and vendor management strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, implementing corrective actions to address deviations or non-compliance.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, vendor performance, and procurement activities to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and corporate governance policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, vendor management, or procurement, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality control systems and performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
