Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily purchasing operations, ensuring timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, conducting due diligence to ensure reliability and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, providing insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and new sourcing opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with automotive parts, components, and industry standards is a plus.
