Responsibility
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies to align inventory with sales forecasts and market trends.
- Manage product gross profit by analyzing pricing, promotions, and cost structures to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) to ensure seamless product lifecycle management.
- Conduct tactical promotion planning to drive sales growth and inventory turnover.
- Monitor and report on KPIs (e.g., sell-through rates, stock levels, margin performance) with data-driven insights.
- Leverage Mandarin language skills to liaise with suppliers, vendors, or regional teams for procurement and negotiations.
- Optimize inventory allocation across channels to minimize overstock/understock risks.
- Support the development of seasonal and promotional calendars in alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, demand planning, or retail analytics.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; English proficiency is required.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, ERP systems, or demand planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proven track record in forecasting, inventory management, and financial acumen (P&L, gross margin analysis).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with retail trends in Southeast Asia is advantageous.
