Responsibility
- Lead and manage the product costing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and finance teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and financial analyses to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate product pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to product costs and expenses.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes for cost accounting.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members on cost accounting principles and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, product costing, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost drivers in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in financial reporting.
