Responsibility
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure initiatives with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve IT infrastructure capabilities.
- Prepare and present reports on IT infrastructure performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS, ITIL) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles, compliance requirements, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop IT professionals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
