Responsibility
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of grant governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of grant-related activities to identify risks, gaps, or non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and program divisions, to align grant management practices with strategic objectives.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including funding agencies and senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on grant compliance, best practices, and procedural updates.
- Monitor grant expenditures and budgets to ensure adherence to allocated funds and financial guidelines.
- Liaise with external partners, donors, and regulatory bodies to maintain transparent and accountable grant administration.
- Support the continuous improvement of grant management processes through research, benchmarking, and the adoption of industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CGAP, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant management, compliance, audit, or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of grant policies, regulatory frameworks, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with grant management software or ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, social services, or integrated care models is highly desirable.
