Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department to ensure optimal performance of hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance guest experience.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies across all properties.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials and services while managing departmental budgets effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and renovation projects.
- Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to promote sustainability and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians and engineers.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
