Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate CNC machining operations to ensure optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of CNC operators and technicians to achieve performance targets.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Monitor production schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, material usage, and staff performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming, operation, and maintenance (e.g., Haas, Mazak, or similar systems).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
