Responsibility
- Assist the Lounge Manager in overseeing daily lounge operations, ensuring peak efficiency and adherence to luxury service standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor the F&B service team to ensure consistently exceptional guest interactions.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and beverage ordering to optimize costs and maintain premium product quality.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the lounge to meet Mandarin Orientalâs rigorous brand guidelines.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with grace, ensuring every guest feels valued and catered to.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to streamline service delivery and menu execution.
- Prepare operational reports and assist in roster management to ensure adequate staffing levels during high-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-end luxury hotel or premium lounge/bar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and motivating diverse teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor suitable for a luxury setting.
- In-depth knowledge of premium beverage programs, mixology, and service protocols.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Hospitality management degree or relevant certification is highly regarded.
