Responsibility

  • Assist the Lounge Manager in overseeing daily lounge operations, ensuring peak efficiency and adherence to luxury service standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the F&B service team to ensure consistently exceptional guest interactions.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and beverage ordering to optimize costs and maintain premium product quality.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the lounge to meet Mandarin Oriental’s rigorous brand guidelines.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with grace, ensuring every guest feels valued and catered to.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to streamline service delivery and menu execution.
  • Prepare operational reports and assist in roster management to ensure adequate staffing levels during high-traffic periods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-end luxury hotel or premium lounge/bar environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and motivating diverse teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor suitable for a luxury setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of premium beverage programs, mixology, and service protocols.
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Hospitality management degree or relevant certification is highly regarded.
