Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS/IFRS.
- Monitor daily cash flow, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure timely bank reconciliations.
- Support the annual budgeting process and perform periodic variance analysis to identify areas for cost optimization.
- Ensure strict adherence to tax regulations (BIR compliance) and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external audits.
- Supervise junior finance staff and oversee the effective implementation of accounting policies and internal controls.
- Coordinate with department heads to track departmental spending against set budgets.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management review to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA license is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
