Responsibility
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across multiple luxury properties in Bali, ensuring adherence to Marriottâs standards of excellence.
- Supervise, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requests, resolve issues, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
- Implement and monitor sustainable housekeeping practices, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly product usage.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, including guest feedback, staff productivity, and operational challenges, to drive continuous improvement.
- Step in for the Executive Housekeeper as needed, ensuring seamless operations during their absence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team of housekeeping professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with housekeeping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.
- Certification in hospitality management or housekeeping (e.g., CHA, CHHE) is a strong advantage.
